Behavioral Support Strategies and Medical Assistance
Ron Mazik, UCFSD Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Virginia Covert, UCFSD Access Coordinator
This speaker series will focus on providing parents with information on what Medical Assistance is, how to apply for it, and how the School Based Access Program works. Additionally, this speaker series will discuss behavioral support strategies including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), behavior interventions, Functional Based Assessments (FBAs), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), problem behaviors and replacement behaviors, and at-home strategies for behavior support.
