Julie Griswold, a freshman at Unionville High School, wins the 2017 Four Girls On A Mission Design Challenge. Julie entered her original design at the GETT Expo (Girls Exploring Tomorrow’s Technology) amongst hundreds of other submissions.
“I spent a long time wondering…and eventually settled on a statement: A Mind Of My Own. I wanted people to know that I could think for myself, and that everyone’s opinions matter.”
The design team at Four Girls worked in conjunction with Julie and her family to make her dream of creating a girl power t-shirt a reality. Julie’s inspiring tees are now available for purchase to spread her mission of encouraging everyone to find their voice and use it for the betterment of the world. For every t-shirt purchased, Four Girls will donate $1 to The Malala Fund, which aims for every girl in the world to learn and lead without fear.
“I created my t-shirt design to inspire girls to think for themselves and follow their dreams…I hope to make a difference in the world with Four Girls On A Mission, one t-shirt at a time.”
